  1. Fantastic work, Lizzy. You did a brilliant job moving from outdoors to indoors too. People don't realise how hard it is to adjust to light changes/muck about with settings etc.

  2. thanks! it was sooo tough. i had to do a lot of post-processing in RAW to fix some light balance issues and make the exposures looked more consistent. the mixed lighting was crazy, as well as being both out- and indoors. plus the outdoor light went from overcast and rainy to full-on sun - and back again - in a matter of minutes. i really got lucky with using bounce flash indoors though. phew!

  3. ..sorry it's taken so long to get back. Hubby shot his first few weddings recently and faced similar conditions/pouring rain. Spent hours in Aperture fixing RAW versions too. As far as a photography career goes, there really is so much time you have to spend on post-processing, album layout etc unless you outsource the lot. I really love the bride at the window, confectionary and several shots of the bride and groom. You did good :) Let me know what you do next, ok?

  4. my best photographer friend outsources all her post-processing! such a thought. of course, she gets almost perfect shots in-camera, so i'm sure it's a pretty easy job ;)

  5. Yeah, outsourcing is the way to go for so many industries now. It's a pretty smart move I think especially for super time consuming parts of the job. Problem of course is getting that 'surplus' cash to pay the people you subcontract work to - hubby and I always have pipe dreams that start with, "if only we had a spare 20K we could...'
Have a great weekend Lizzy x
